It’s something we always keep at the front of our minds when marketing property.

Corporate & Brand Identity

Your most important development is your brand.

At Ripe we know just how important names are, especially in property, where your company reputation often goes ahead of you. So knowing what your name and logo says about you is critical.

Your corporate branding defines your company and its ethos, and in many ways is as important as the product that you are creating. Yet all too often, we see companies who have given very little thought to the perceptions that their corporate identity creates.

In the residential property market, more than anywhere else, people buy into the dream of a lifestyle. So when we create a brand or scheme identity, we base it on the aspirations of the people you are selling these dreams to. We do this by finding out who they are, where they live, what they do and what they think. Then we create a brand and identity accordingly.

At Ripe we always take a partnering approach with our clients and get proactively involved at the start of any project. Not only does this enable us to help identify key issues, create the brief and agree a workable strategy, it also ensures we are fully accountable.

Brochure Design

We design our brochures to work like show homes. We invite people in and then wow them.

Property brochures are wonderful things. Well, we like to think the ones we do are anyway. They enhance the brand identity of the development and give customers something tangible that they can take away and hold on to. They engage, inform, excite and, when done well, they sell.

At Ripe we know how important brochures are in property marketing, and always look at them through the eyes of the customer, making sure that they get across both the rational and emotional benefits. Simple things, like making sure individual floor layouts can be seen alongside overall site plans helps people to get their heads around developments more easily, as does showing the movement of the sun throughout the day.

With every turn of the page comes a fresh opportunity to inspire the reader. So when designing our brochures we think about the journey through them, and deliberately change the pace of our design to stop and motivate customers at key points.

Hoardings & Advertising

One of your biggest obligations is one of your biggest opportunities.

Hoardings are essential. They are required to be placed around a scheme during development to meet health and safety requirements. They also represent an enormous opportunity. So it’s vital that you do them well.

At Ripe we’ve done miles upon miles of hoardings (including one that was a mile long itself – the longest ever in the UK) so you could say we know a thing or two about them. We know what works and what doesn’t. Having said that, we don’t work to a formula. What we like so much about hoardings is the bespoke nature of them. They allow more creativity and flexibility than other poster sites, and we try to exploit that wherever possible. If there is an opportunity to go super size or to incorporate modern technology, we look at it, weighing up the commercial benefits against the costs.

To reinforce your brand message and build on the awareness your hoardings generate, we can also create a fully measurable, tactical press campaign. But not just any old ad campaign. The property pages are increasingly cluttered with ads that all look and sound the same. Our challenge is to create ads that cut through the clutter and stand out.

Website Design & Online Marketing

Remember when all you needed was a couple of ads and a brochure?

We do. It wasn’t that long ago. But things in property marketing have changed dramatically. Today, over 600 million people are online - and the need to create a strong, informative web site is no longer a luxury, it’s a must.

Of course, it’s not enough to simply have a web site, cross your fingers and hope it delivers. The key to maximizing the value of any investment is being able to set objectives and then measure, analyse, test and improve the return on that investment. That’s why we use our unique ‘Measures that Matter’ interface to show how your site is performing, including the number of unique visitors, performance of the key action pages, and paths and time of customer journeys.

When we design marketing suites we think about the customer’s experience. What’s the first thing they see? How does it make them feel? What does it make them want to do next? From the positioning of your sales desk to where the seating is placed, the type of messages you see to where you see them, everything about the environment is carefully considered.

The way we think about our marketing suites is not restricted to a certain skill set. We incorporate new interactive and digital media with moving image and animation, and mix these with traditional print based material to come up with solutions that are creative, intelligent and innovative.
