Background

Having worked closely with Kerzner International over the past few years Ripe were asked to create a
new brand for the organisation’s latest resort concept. Located on the north east coast of Morocco
the Kerzner resort will set new standards for integrated resort development in the region. The resort
comprises a 500 key 5 star hotel, casino, nightclub, entertainment complex, bars, restaurants, retail,
water sports, ESPA spa, Gary Player country club and championship golf course and 150 residential
villas.

Brief

To produce an effective online marketing tool for global sales agents to assist in the sale of all residential villas, whilst also providing the wider audience with all key information about the wider development.

Consider an effective SEO strategy for the site to ensure high visitor levels from the key audience demographic.

Ensure the site is easily content managed by Kerzner sales staff and agents.

Solution

The website has been designed to provide clear user journeys to key information with minimum click through required. An intro movie gives the user an engaging optional introduction to the scheme, which once complete takes the user to a home page populated with highly relevant and informative information and clear calls to action. All content is highly Search Engine Optimised (SEO) ensuring naturally high rankings in search engines and maximised visitor levels.

The back end of the site features a bespoke content management system based on our ‘Ripesite’ system, that allows the client full control over major content within the site, thus saving valuable budget on future developments to the site.

Kerzner also received a full CRM solution from Ripe that allowed them to store critical and sensitive sales information centrally. This same information can be utilised by numerous agents in various global positions, reducing the risk of conflicting or outdated information being accessed by different agents. The system also integrated with the interactive plot locator map featured in the front end of the site, ensuring up to date information was posted to the website as soon as the database was update by agents.

Result

Sales enquiries and visitor levels were immediately higher than predicted with traffic being driven effectively to the key pages within the site quickly and easily. The interactive sitemap enabled users to quickly identify a plot to suite their requirements, whilst also giving the sales agents a simple system to keep information up to date regularly.
