Designed by ripe, Bensons Apple Juice have unveiled their new packaging for the soon to be launched Chilly Billy iced pops.

Set to be a niche product in the ice lolly market, Chilly Billy's have the unique selling point of no added sugar and contribute nearly one of your five a day in a single pop, a feature sure to be a winner with the ever increasing number of people looking for health conscious alternatives to food and drink, particularly for children.

The packaging has been designed to stand out from other ice lollies in the market place and set Bensons aside from the additive and preservative packed products currently available. 'We wanted the packaging to be clean, fresh and encompass the traditional family values Bensons hold, whilst also standing out from the wide range of products found in typical retail chest freezers' explains ripe Design's Creative Services Director, Sam Rainey. 'We also wanted to ensure that it is clear to consumers the product contains basically fruit and nothing else, providing a unique healthy option for people looking for a refreshing ice lolly'.

Chilly Billy is the Apple and Raspberry flavoured pop currently set for launch, but is just one of a range of exciting flavours set for future release. The product will be sold initially via independent retailers, delicatessens and National Trust attractions, but Bensons are also hoping to sell through regional wholesalers.
